Chad Fehr

Chad and Kristi bought their Bragg Creek Padgett franchise in 2012 and have drawn on their down to earth approach, and varied experiences to help other business owners grow and develop their businesses.  With the addition of Padgett Calgary,  Chad is confident he has the capacity and shared knowledge to continue his goal of helping business owners free up time and create wealth.

Chad was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan, graduating from the U of S with Accounting and Operations Management majors.  Chad completed his CMA designation in 2001 working in the private sector. He made the transition to Government and moved to the Northwest Territories in 2002 working in Director of Finance and CEO positions within Government.  The North was where he met his wife, Kristi and together they have two children.  In the Fall of 2011 a move to Redwood Meadows, AB took place offering new opportunities for the kids and Chad and Kristi.

Chad is happiest helping others and found the simplest way to help business owners is to be accessible, provide consistent, high quality and timely information at a fair price.  “Any professional accountant can file a tax return, but very few of us take the time to help you grow.”

Daniela Barber

Daniela and her parents immigrated from Germany in 1983. Her parents purchased a business in Southern Manitoba where she worked while going to school. She understands the challenges of balancing a busy working schedule with other responsibilities while trying to maintain a work-life balance. Her commitment is to help business owners achieve the same while enjoying nice profits.
Daniela received her Certified Management Accounting (CMA) Designation now Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation at the CPA Accountants of Alberta in 2002. For the first 15 years of her career, she has held a wide range of accounting, payroll and controller positions in a variety of companies and industries. She purchased her Padgett Business Services Franchise, one of North America’s fastest growing accounting franchises, in 2005.
Now after 17 years owning the Padgett franchise, she’s ready to hand off the reins to the new owners. Daniela is still available to help with taxes, assist management and staff wherever she can and make introductions.

Lisa Francis

Lisa was born in Ontario and moved to Calgary with her family as a child. She lives with her husband, son and 2 dogs. When not working she can be found walking her dogs, reading, or spending time in her back yard garden with her family.
She has 29 + years experience with bookkeeping and office administration. This experience was achieved through her almost 11 years at Padgett Business Services as well as a variety of small businesses including the graphics design industry, manufacturing, construction and retail. Some of the positions she has held during her career are accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bookkeeping and office administration. This variety of experience serves to give Lisa a broad understanding of her client’s needs as well as to offer support to her various co-workers in the office.
It is Lisa’s goal to learn something new every day and enjoy life as much as possible. She most enjoys meeting and dealing with people face to face while working to make a positive difference in their lives as well as her own. Working at Padgett Business Services allows her to accomplish this goal.

Kay Van Erp

Kay was born in England and emigrated to Ontario with her family in the 80’s.
She moved to Calgary in the early 90’s and it’s been home ever since.
In 2000 she started bookkeeping for a food service company.  This included payroll, A/P, A/R, and inventory control.
After several years, she transitioned into public practice, and specialized in small business accounting, and tax preparation. Over time she has taken multiple bookkeeping and accounting courses to expand her knowledge and skills.
These experiences combined have allowed Kay to excel in QuickBooks Online, Excel, QuickBooks Desktop, and Sage 50.
Kay enjoys helping clients understand the bookkeeping and accounting process and helping them understand what the numbers mean to their business.
When she doesn’t have her nose buried in a computer, Kay enjoys scuba diving under the warm Caribbean sun, looking for the ever elusive turtle or even under the ice in Banff National Park (no turtles there either!).  When she’s not underwater, she enjoys reading, distance running, and spending time with her husband, kids, grandkids, and dog.
